Wellness Initiatives

A symbiotic, supportive, safe atmosphere. That’s our motto when it comes to building a healthy work culture where our employees are at the heart of what we do. Hence, a committee for people engagement and well-being has been established to organise a range of holistic initiatives that help improve and behoove our employees’ physical, mental and emotional welfare.

With a structured calendar of sports and cultural events implemented throughout the year across all our locations, our people can be a part of numerous activities. Alongside, broadcast sessions on emotional well-being, yoga at the desk, spiritual reads, financial awareness have been conducted.

To enhance work-life balance, our non-production departments have the option of working flexi hours. Our new leave policy, framed by the millennials and Gen X members of the IT, mandates a 20 day leave every year. We continue to perfect our policies to make them more people centric, bolstering productivity simultaneously.

At Kirloskar Pneumatic, we have a robust mechanism in place to ensure an equitable workplace. With regular training sessions on our values, code of conduct and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, we ensure that our people are aware, safe and equipped with the information to uphold this sanctity of the workplace. From implementing anonymous grievance reporting mechanisms that alert us on potential human rights violations to promoting gender diversity and celebrating cultural diversity, we continuously strive to create a workplace that is respectful, inclusive and never compromising on the integrity of the organization.

As an IMS certified company, Kirloskar Pneumatic has a well-defined policy that is committed to the Quality, Environment, Occupation Health and Safety (QEOHS) of all its employees. We have deployed a number of practices and processes that have improved the safety standards of our operations. From the mandatory usage of PPE suits within the factory premises and providing a complete safety kit to those out in the field, to proactive initiatives such as risk hunting and monthly cross functional safety audits, we have a wholesome approach to ensuring safety at the workplace.

We extend this support to our employees even after they have retired. After-retirement care, retirement workshops and employee engagement activities are conducted as our commitment to the well-being and success of our team members and their families. At Kirloskar Pneumatic, we celebrate the wins and achievements of our employees’ children, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the organisation, as we work towards building a limitless world for all.
