Forging - KPCL
Sub Product Data Content (Forging)
Forging
Our forging plant uses a unique process to produce large forgings of weights up to 500 kg and sizes of up to 1000 mm by 1800 mm. With very short cycle times even for very large parts, the forging plant does not use hydrocarbon fuels directly, thereby maintaining a clean and green process. With an aim to offer a fully machined part to the customer, we have integrated forging, normalising and machining components on-site. Depending on the component and the specific requirement, hardening of the machined parts can also be offered. While the forging plant caters to the internal requirements of our organisation, more than half of the capacity serves our customers.

Capabilities
- In-house heat treatment and machining of forgings
- Die design and forging simulation
- Ferrous and non-ferrous forgings
