Mr. Pravir Vohra’s professional journey began with his 23-year-long tenure at the State Bank of India, where he held several leadership positions in business and technology, both in India and abroad. When he moved to the ICICI Bank Group in January 2000, he led the Retail Technology Group and Technology Management Group. Here he spearheaded technological initiatives across ICICI Bank's domestic and international operations, which resulted in a future-ready platform with an independent and scalable infrastructure. Thereon, he acted as the President and Group CTO at ICICI Bank, from 2005 to 2012, after which he retired.

Mr. Pravir Vohra’s life post-retirement was equally distinguished. He mentored several start-ups in the realm of payments, during which he completed a 2-year assignment to establish the Tech and Ops function at the New Development Bank, Shanghai. Further, he is a Director on the Board of Directors of IDFC First Bank Limited, Kirloskar Ferrous Industries Limited Goldman Sachs (India) Capital Markets Private Limited, Goldman Sachs (India) Finance Private Limited and New Age Markets in Electricity Private Limited.

Mr. Pravir Vohra is passionate about leveraging existing and emerging technologies to overcome business challenges, improve operational efficiency, and innovate new products and processes to uplift the lives of Indians.
