Recognised by Asia Book and India Book of Records for Green Excellence

Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited has been recognised by the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records for planting the maximum number of Ashoka trees in an industrial park at its Saswad facility in Maharashtra, India.

Established in 1985, the Saswad industrial estate reflects the company's longstanding commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable industrial development. Spread across 2,42,728 sq. m., the premises feature 208 Ashoka trees lining both sides of the internal roads, creating a distinctive green corridor across the industrial campus. The record was confirmed on 9 October 2026.

The record was formally documented following a detailed verification process conducted by Dr. Chitra Jain, an adjudicator representing the record organisations. The assessment included verification of the number of trees, the area covered and the identification of the trees. The record certificate was presented to Ganesh Chaudhary, Head – Human Resources, representing Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited.

Beyond this recognition, the initiative reflects the company's enduring efforts to promote environmental conservation, expand green spaces within its industrial premises and support biodiversity. The environmental initiative was undertaken with UNIK LAB, Pune, serving as the environmental consultant.
This milestone highlights Kirloskar Pneumatic's commitment to balancing industrial growth with environmental responsibility and creating a greener, more sustainable industrial environment for the future.
