Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited, Hadapsar, Pune, has been honoured with the National Award for Excellent Environmental Practices 2026 at the 13th edition of the CII National Award for Environmental Best Practices.

The final competition was held on October 8–9, 2026, at Hotel Feathers, Chennai. Kirloskar Pneumatic received this recognition in the Biodiversity Management category for its project, “Biodiversity – Building an Ecosystem in Factory Premises.”

The project highlights the company's efforts to promote biodiversity and develop a thriving ecosystem within its factory premises, reflecting its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable manufacturing practices.

The competition witnessed participation from 145 companies, with 316 projects submitted. A total of 50 companies were shortlisted to present 56 projects, making this recognition a significant achievement for Kirloskar Pneumatic.

This award reinforces the company's commitment to integrating environmental stewardship into its operations and creating a more sustainable industrial environment.
