We are proud to share that Dr. Abhishek Kumar, Chartered Engineer (IMechE, UK) and a member of our R&D team, has been honoured with the Geoffrey Soar Award 2024 by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK. Presented annually, this award recognises young engineers making original and impactful contributions to the field of fluid machinery.

Dr. Kumar’s paper titled “Investigating Alternative Rotor Materials to Increase Displacement and Efficiency of Screw Compressors while Considering Cost and Manufacturability,” was presented at the International Conference on Compressors and their Systems, held at City, University of London. His work reflects a thoughtful balance of academic rigour and engineering insight, addressing real-world challenges in compressor performance, efficiency and material innovation.
