Exceptional Achievements at the 40th Annual Chapter Convention on Quality Circle and Allied Concepts in Pune

The Quality Circle Forum of India, Pune Chapter, hosted the 40th Annual Chapter Convention on Quality Circle and Allied Concepts on 19–20 September 2025 at its Pune campus. The convention brought together teams from more than 100 organisations to showcase work in Quality Circle, Lean Quality Circle, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement practices. More than 400 case studies were presented by top industry leaders.

Six of our Kaizen teams—representing the Air Compressors Division, Transmission Division, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment, Process Gas Systems, the Nashik Manufacturing Division, and the Corporate team participated in the competition.

The convention results were exceptional. Five teams earned Gold Awards, and one team achieved a Silver Award:

  • The Air Compressors Division won Gold for reducing the machining setup time for airend components in screw compressors.
  • The Transmission Division earned Gold for reducing the measurement cycle time of gears and pinions.
  • The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment team secured Gold for achieving uniform heat distribution during stress-relieving of crankcases in reciprocating compressors.
  • The Process Gas Systems team received Gold for eliminating cartridge check-valve failures in water-cooled booster compressor packages.
  • The Corporate team won Gold for implementing a cost-effective paint-sludge waste-management solution.
  • The Nashik Manufacturing Division earned Silver for developing a rotational mechanism that synchronizes earthing-wire rotation with job rotation.

These achievements reinforce our organisation’s commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The success of our teams at CCQC-2025 reflects the dedication, skill, and collaborative effort across all divisions, strengthening our position as a leader in quality and process improvement initiatives.
