Award

The 38th NCQC-2024 at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior, saw significant participation from Kirloskar Pneumatic, with three teams receiving the Excellence Award Trophy for their innovative quality management solutions. This event showcased over 150 quality concepts, including Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma. The NCQC platform enabled teams to demonstrate their practical approach toward achieving operational excellence.

• Excellence Award – Transmission Division (Manufacturing Engineering): Cost reduction through circular economy initiatives, particularly the Briquetting Project.
• Excellence Award – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Division (Plant Engineering): Compressor on/off automation that reduced energy consumption by 10 kWh/cylinder and improved MTTR against air pressure low alarms.
• Excellence Award – Process Gas System Division (Project Execution): Designing portable fixtures for hydro testing that streamlined operations.
